Hero

Heros.

They die for honor, fight for justice and they are assumingly righteous individuals?

These traits and qualities of heroes seemed to make us more non-hero as we often forsake honor, justice and integrity for something or someone whom we think might matters to us more than those values that are often shelved on the hard-to-reach moral high grounds.

I think that explains the creation of alter egos like Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wonderwoman…..

As oppose to the alter-egos how often does one bring himself or herself down to a level of their wants and desires to forsake their basic respect of his or her fellow beings; to lie; to speak ill and dishonor fellow beings in the name of doing these for the well-being of another.

Does the act of forsaking the mutual trust and friendship that was forged through years of understanding and adversities for another being considered a heroic act as well? I mean risking one’s reputation for the well-being of another.

Are they not considered heroes?

Sometimes I think Honour, Justice and Integrity are nothing but a serious joke as the act of forsaking them for someone or something is somehow perversely viewed as a heroic act.

Now, are u a hero?
