ORCHARD WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE

It's not funny. I mean the title of this post.

Like other folks, I was equally shocked when I heard that body parts were found near orchard MRT station yesterday.

I couldn't imagine how freaked out or traumatised that indian-lady-cleaner can be when she attempted to find out what's inside the package.

She could have just called WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE after spotting a suspiciously looking package, without having to risk gasping for air due to overwhelming shock after seeing a lifeless human skull inside a sports bag.

Ya ya.... YAU ZOU JI JIAO MO HAK YI.......

Ok..... I'm a jerk. Still have the cheek to joke about this. But "WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE" came instantaneously to my mind when the CNA gave the indian-lady-cleaner a 2 minute 15 seconds solo shot. She was obviously shocked.

On a more serious note, I believe this unfortunate incident somehow triggers the alarm of vigilance among our folks. Peace and national security should never be taken of granted.

Heed the advice that was relentlessly broadcast in the MRT stations, if u find any suspicious looking baggage, remember to inform the staff or simply remember WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE, WOON-BER-DE a.k.a 9-9-9.

Souplad in Vietnam

This is one of the popular attraction when one goes island-hopping in Halong Bay.

We were told by our guide -- HA, that women like this particular limestone cave very much. However, HA kept the whole group in suspense by not telling us what's inside the cave.

When we were near the entrance of the cave, we could hear echos of yeeks and sharp shrills. So it must be some spooky cave.......

English rose: OMG.......
Sydney NaNa bar: Eyes and mouth wide open.....
Melbourne kindergarten teacher: Oh.........
Swiss nanny: Ho Ho ......

HA was reprimanded being rude and was told that the ladies were pretty offended.

HA, cheekily told me that female tourists like this place though he always get reprimanded after bringing them here.

English rose and I spotted this at one remote corner of the cave.... We named it as TWO FEET.....

Souplad in Vietnam

Last christmas, I was wandering in Hue, Halong Bay, DMZ, Hanoi and Sapa. Backpacking alone is expensive. Shiok though.

I thought of paying Phuket a visit on my way back to Singapore. I was pretty lucky to change my plans and headed home then to TI, Perak.

Some memorable pictures that I have taken....

Made in Singapore

President S.R. Nathan

Kelvin Chen Weilian

Two great man. Both elected by our folks. Well....err....not quite.

I don't mean to show disrespect or trivalise the president election.... I wonder if, I say if, there is a chance for us to cast our votes, I suggest we may do it via sms, just the way we did for Taufik and Kelvin.
